It can be evidently perceived that the world cannot become a better place with technological advancement or scientific innovations but with better human beings who are kind, compassionate and discerning. In today’s world, science and intelligence can assure progress, speed and solutions but there is no lab or artificial setting to produce ethics, integrity and wisdom. Hence it is indispensable for this contemporary world to seek shelter in spiritual realm and establish an association with a God realised saint or a Guru, the spiritual Master. Moreover, all the impending crises of this planet are now shifted to young & growing children who are witnessing the vanishing traces of values, convictions and ethics. Notwithstanding this, Atmiya Vidya Mandir is a place which assures the future a race of individuals who are raised with deeply rooted ethics, cultural values and strong morals. Particularly, AVM students are most fortunate because they are enveloped in the blissful environment of this campus which was recently sanctified with the divine presence of GuruHari. It was the auspicious day of 17th October which is marked as ‘Bhagyoday Parv’ as AVM family celebrated the dawn of this momentous day which was the most blissful when GuruHari arrived and graced the AVM campus.

The school’s prayer hall resonated with devout clapping as the students and staff witnessed the serendipitous moment of GuruHari’s arrival in the Sabha. Everyone ardently beheld GuruHari as He bowed and offered His naman to the murtis of Bhagwan and His Guru. As GuruHari was walking on the track of flowers laid to facilitate Him towards His aasan, all members of AVM family present there rejoiced to have the divine darshan of their spiritual master. Sabha started with a dance drama presented by the young students from the junior wing. The lyrics of the song ‘Nanha Munha Rahi Hu’ spread a reassuring smile on GuruHari’s face as students reaffirmed to make the world a better place by practising the values and ethics instilled in them at AVM. Thereafter, the students of Shivam House presented a skit depicting Shivaji’s secret of his invincible power which he acquired through his firm faith in his Guru Ramdas’ words. GuruHari was glad to find that AVM students, at such a young age, are imbibing such incredible qualities of faith and obedience from great historical figures like Shivaji, as the message of the skit stated – “Guru Krupa se Gyan Upje, Guru Krupa se hi Raksha hoye”. After this drama presentation, the choir of junior wing offered a devotional bhajan with lyrics “Jode Chho Maharaj”. As this choir group was singing the glory of Bhagwan and GuruHari, the entire prayer hall was filled with positivity and spiritual vibes. After that, the students of grade 12th were lucky enough to be in the same frame (of photograph) with GuruHari as a lifetime memory.

Thereafter, Vijay Sir explained to students the glory and significance of having GuruHari in our life. Vijay Sir insisted upon remembering the bhajan sung by the school choir group as an anthem for becoming Nimit or instrumental in GuruHari’s divine mission. He further emphasised absorbing a particular line of this bhajan that is, Sakshi Bhave Jivadjo, which means that the best way to regulate our thoughts, actions and speech is by constantly perceiving Swamishree’s presence around us and believing that His eyes are always upon us.

It was now the fortunate moment to take GuruHari’s paravani prasad. GuruHari expressed His gladness over the recreated lyrics of the dance-drama Nanha Munha Rahi Hu. He further stressed upon the fact that all members of Atmiya Vidya Mandir are immensely fortunate as the school offers multiangled development to all the students. GuruHari further added how AVM presents the ideals lived by Sardar Patel and Swami Vivekanand who are the epitome of Guru Bhakti and Desh Bhakti. Students were advised by Him to study for life and not only for examinations. Thereafter, students and staff had individual and close darshan of GuruHari. Though this sabha ended but there was a new beginning; a beginning of divine legacy which reassures the mortals of this planet of the supremacy and omnipotent presence and influence of Bhagwan and His divine saint who is a force, a source and a shelter to combat challenges and miseries posed by this seemingly advanced and progressive world.
