The annual sports extravaganza of our school, aptly titled “Anand Diwas”, serves as the perfect culmination to an academic year filled with learning and growth. This year’s edition commenced on March 31st and concluded with the exhilarating final cricket match on April 1st. Organized entirely by our dedicated sports faculty and eagerly participated in by every student, “Anand Diwas” stands as the pinnacle of enthusiasm within our school community.

While cricket takes centre stage, traditional sports such as kabaddi, dodgeball, and football add to the vibrant tapestry of activities, particularly enjoyed by our younger bhoolkus. Spanning across the expansive grounds of our school, including the huge Kothar Building ground for the cricket matches of students in standards 7, 8, and 9, and the football ground for our younger peers in standards 4, 5, and 6, “Anand Diwas” truly utilizes every inch of our sporting infrastructure.

This year, a total of 16 teams passionately competed, resulting in a thrilling series of 15 league matches for each participating team, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among friends. Beyond the mere thrill of victory, “Anand Diwas” offers us a precious opportunity to momentarily escape the rigors of academic life, providing a platform for self-expression and boundless joy shared with cherished friends.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed sports faculty and the school management for their tireless dedication in ensuring the seamless execution of “Anand Diwas,” allowing us all to forge unforgettable memories that will resonate long beyond the confines of our school years.
