Dr Parameswaran was welcomed in the auditorium by class 10th to 12th students. He was offered a bouquet by our Principal Dr. Vijay Patel and was introduced by Paramrut Sir.
Then he talked to us about Law as a career. He told the students that law bridges the gap between problems and solutions and is a very lucrative option. From his experience, he shared that he found studying as well as teaching law to be very interesting. He even said that it is one of the most difficult careers but if a student has will, determination & hard work than he/she can easily study and excel in the field of law. He also mentioned that law was a lucrative career option in terms of earning money.
Later on in the day a special seminar was arranged for the students aspiring for a career in law. Dr Parameswaran solved their doubts and was happy to see such a huge number of law career aspirants raising intelligent questions. He guided them about the techniques to deal with the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), job prospects and life at National Law Universities. He even said that it was not always necessary to practise law after studying as one could also run a successful business after their study with their understanding of law. He also said that many successful UPSC candidates are law graduates. Finally at the end of the seminar, Dr Parameswaran was presented a memento by our Vice-Principal Ashish Patel.
Dr Parameswaran certainly passed over his passion for law to the students and motivated us to “Be Nice and Work Hard”. He keenly took a campus tour and expressed his pleasure meeting with the students and staff of our school.

This great event was preceded by two elimination rounds. First, there was an Open Audition round in which near around 200 students participated, this strength was remarkable enough to conclude that a large number of students of AVM have inclination towards music. The semi-final round was held among 30 selected students which put only 8 students to contest in grand finale.
In this ‘Music Battle,’ all performances were planned and organized to create an attempt to capture the spicy yet melodious flavour of singing on stage. The performances of student-singers were largely of the Modern-Jazz & Contemporary forms, with a high quotient of singing skill and grace. Synchronization and rhythm were the key themes of this singing contest as participants sang groovy numbers. From the intense and hard hitting, to the light hearted and tongue-in cheek, turned out to be a grand hit.
“The challenge was to sing fairly well to coordinate with the type of song selected for singing” said Mr. Mayank (Antriksh Band) one of the judges.
Taking the audience through both the old and new numbers there was an ear-splitting response. The day’s events drew to a close as Ronak Mistry and Anand Pandya gave a scintillating, energy-filled performance on instrumental music.
The finalists ultimately achieved the following positions:
Group A: Std 1 to 5
Group B: Std 6 to 10
Group: Keyboard
Judges: Mayank Sir, Vishal Sir, Birju Sir
The event could not have possibly been the way it happened had it not been for the untiring efforts of the music teachers of Atmiya Vidya Mandir: Somnath Sir and Jaimin Sir supported by students of grade 10.
