Though in the months of June and July, rain is no damper for retaining that ultimate joy through games as the efficient sports team of Atmiya Vidya Mandir plan indoor game competitions between different student-houses. To begin with, the Inter-House Carrom Competition for Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior group was organised in the first week of July 2022.

The exuberant participants from each student-house reached the Carrom game arena as soon as their classes ended. More and more students from Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram and Suhradam houses poured in to add cheers to the jubilant contestants. Around 20 students from each house participated in this indoor inter-house competition from each group thus a greater number of students could enjoy playing this game.

The commencement of this indoor game competition was marked with surging excitement among the competitors from Sub-Junior Group. When these little champs started setting their fingers and palm on the edge of the carrom board and hit the striker, everyone watched them with eagerness. The sports teachers Tejas Sir and Kalpesh Sir watched keenly the running striker on the board and noted points from each team of players.  These champions ended the game with elated hearts. Soon after, another game started among Junior Group contestants, amidst the sliding and flickering sound of striker, the excitement grew and cheers rose as the young players made every effort to push the pucks in the pocket. Out of the four teams of the elimination round, best two teams of Shivam House and Satyam House further continued with the game.

After the Junior group competition, Kalpesh Sir, the umpire of the game, announced the next game to be played by the Senior Group players.  As the game started, the excitement mounted, howling cheers from the spectators resonated around the game arena. The Shivam House players keenly maintained a calculated speed and force of the striker, thus their bag continued to be filled with pucks.
