On 28th of July our school Basketball Team participated in the Under 19 District level Basketball Tournament organised by Fountainhead School in Surat.
There were a total of 13 teams from different schools in and around Surat that participated in this tournament. Our school team got a bye in the first match, so we were directly entered into the Quarter Final round.
Our Quarter Final match was against Swaminarayan Mission School team at 12:30PM. The match was divided into two quarters of 7 minutes each. In the first quarter, the opponent team took a lead of 5 points with the score of 7-2. Our players got revived and began their second quarter with a spirit of competing and winning. However, we lost this match by with the overall score of 19-9.
Our scorers were:
- Niramay Bhai (Std 10) – 07 points
- Manav Bhai (Std 10) – 02 points
