A career counselling and an information session was organised in the school auditorium for students of class 11th and 12th on 28th August 2016. It was organised by the eminent members of Shiv Nadar University: Prof. Nishant Mishra (Department of Mechanical Engineering) and Hitender Sir (SNU Admissions Department).
It was very kind of them to visit us upon being invited by our school to counsel the students. The session started with poojan of Thakorji and offering of bouquets to our esteemed guests.
Professor Nishant Mishra began with a very informative and an insightful discussion about modern day career possibilities and the importance of choosing them wisely.
Thereafter, he introduced Shiv Nadar University and the other philanthropic initiatives of the foundation. He informed the students about the curriculum structure of the university. He gave a wide perspective of the multidisciplinary courses offered by SNU. He also gave information about the research oriented program put in action by the university.
Nishant Sir concluded by explaining why one should choose SNU as the destination for higher education. In the end, he wished all the students for their bright future.
The guests were then presented with gifts by Vijay Sir and the event then concluded, leaving all the students eager to think more about their career interests and wondering about the great educational experience that SNU offers!
