Hearts throbbed and a sense of anticipation of glory crept in the crowd minutes before the start of the closing ceremony of the 12th AAM.

Along with the divinely inspiring presence of saints Pujya Prabodh Swamiji and Pujya Brahmvihari Swamiji, the other esteemed chief guests were Pujya Nareshmama and Pujya Jayantikaka. The function was made all the more eventful with the arrival of many German devotees to attend the ceremony.

The stage was on fire when the students of Std. 7, 8, 9 and 10 performed a very well-choreographed dance on the song ‘Chak Lein De’.

After the dance, there was prize distribution ceremony in which all the students showed great camaraderie by cheering every winner.

Then it was time to give away the Best Athlete awards in all categories. These were the athletes who gave the best performances in their respective age groups. These athletes were:

Under–8

Under–10

Under–13

Under–15

Under–17

Then Pujya Brahmvihari Swamiji addressed everyone on the ground and helped us understand the outcome of the efforts and blessings of Param Pujya Swamishree.

Next, Pujya Prabodh Swamiji helped everyone realize that we all were the most fortunate of all to be studying in such a well-rounded and balanced environment.

The much awaited moment was now here. It was time to announce the Champion & Runner-up houses.

The Runner-up position was secured by the strong and determined Suhradam House. With the firing of crackers, and making history, the Shivam House secured the champions trophy for the first time. All the athletes of Shivam House had given stellar performances because of which Shivam House won the Champions Trophy.

The embodiment of the sutra of ‘We are ONE’ given by Pujya Prabodh Swamiji in the previous 11th AAM was seen in this 12th AAM and was followed till the very end of this meet.

Thus ended one of the grandest event held at AVM, this year.
