The first day of the meet kicked off with renewed splendour as it was also the first day of the New Year 2016. The two days that followed saw the excitement get better.

All the three days were adorned by the mesmerizing sporty demeanour of our sports teachers: Ritesh Sir, Hemant Sir, Devang Sir, Bankim Sir, Tejas Sir, Himanshu Lad Sir, Kalpesh Sir, Mahesh Sir, Jayesh Sir, Himanshu Patel Sir and Mitesh Sir, managing the smooth-going of the events. Alongside the fiery music from the den of our dearest Hirenbhai, all could hear the commanding voices of Tarun Sir and Ritesh Sir giving guidelines regarding the events being done. All the students and teachers dotted the field at various arenas with the sports team and the volunteers on their toes, providing equipment, helping to manage the events and bringing snacks to all the officials.

Cutting across the boundaries of houses, with the loudest of the cheers from the audience, records were smashed and shattered.

Keeping all the arenas well-informed of the ongoing of various events in the ground was the encouraging and lively commentary by Kshitij Sir and Mukesh Sir, which added to the fervour of the occasion.

Capturing these historic and terrific moments, was the photography department. The wonderful music from the music department enlivened the occasion. With his skilful and caring attitude, Vijaybhai was on his toes, attending to the fatigued-yet-bold athletes, providing them proper medical care.

To awaken the athletic spirit in all teachers, and for the fun of it, there was held a 100 m dash for the academic teachers and a 200 m race for the sports teachers.

On the third day, it was time for the most prestigious and looked-forward-to event, i.e., the relay races for the categories under-13, under-15, under-17 and grade 12. The spectators held their breath as the athletes ran like lightning and displayed a never-give-up spirit.

From everything, it was clear that the grandeur of the event was justified in all its proceedings!
