Recently, our exciting inter-house basketball competition came to an end. The competition was held among four houses of the school and was divided into three categories: sub-junior, junior, and senior.
In the sub-junior category, the first match was played between Satyam and Shivam House, in which Shivam House won with a score of 26–12. The second match was between Sundaram and Suhradam House, where Suhradam House won 14–8, securing its place in the finals. As per the rules, the losing teams competed for third place. In this match, Sundaram House defeated Satyam House with a score of 20–6. The finals were played between Shivam and Suhradam House, where Sundaram House won the match with a close score of 14–10.
Moving on to the junior category, the first match was between Satyam and Suhradam House, with Satyam House winning 23–18. The second match was between Shivam and Sundaram House, in which Sundaram House won 10–8 and reached the finals. The third-place match was played between Shivam and Suhradam House, where Suhradam House won 19–8. The junior finals were played between Satyam and Sundaram House, and Satyam House won with a score of 18–6.
In the senior category, the first match was between Satyam and Sundaram House, where Sundaram House won 16–8. The second match between Shivam and Suhradam House was won by Shivam House with a score of 35–22. In the third-place match, Suhradam House defeated Satyam House 26–19. The most awaited final was played between Shivam and Sundaram House, where Shivam House emerged victorious with a high score of 55–35.
In conclusion, Satyam and Suhradam House secured the third position with 18 points each. Shivam House secured the second position with 22 points, while Sundaram House won the tournament with 26 points.
