“Spin and swing let the white ball sing,
In Table Tennis, reflex is the king.”

Table Tennis is more than just a sport – it’s a battle of lightning reflexes and quiet strategy, played on a table barely big enough to contain all the excitement. The ball zips, spins, and flies like it has a mind of its own, turning every rally into a thrilling blur. One second you’re attacking, the next you’re defending – heart racing, paddle ready. It’s fast, intense, and addictive – a perfect mix of focus, finesse, and fun.
Every year, CBSE organizes an inter-school competition where young players from various schools showcase their talent and skill. The U-14, U-17 & U-19 CBSE Cluster XIII Table Tennis Championship 2025-26 was hosted by DPS Gandhinagar, and our school proudly participated in this exciting event. A total of 12 students were selected to represent our school in different age categories.

UNDER-14
Our Under-14 participants were Harshbhai, Manthanbhai, Axarbhai, and Saibhai. The team received a bye in the first round and faced Zydus International School in the pre-quarters. It was an intense and closely fought match, but unfortunately, we lost by a narrow margin.

UNDER-17
This category saw the highest number of participating schools. Our representatives – Atmiyabhai, Darshanbhai, Nirmalbhai, and Suhradambhai – played their opening match against Tapovan International School, which they won with ease. Their next match against Mount Litera Zee School was a nail-biter. With determination and teamwork, they turned the game around and won 3–2. However, their journey came to an end in the quarterfinals against Navrachana Sama, who proved to be tough competitors.

UNDER-19
The Under-19 team entered the tournament with strong preparation and high spirits. Our players – Dhyanbhai, Purvbhai, Bharatbhai, and Saumyabhai – began their campaign in the quarterfinals against Hills High School. It was a tough fight, but they played with grit and emerged victorious. In the semi-finals, they faced Anand Vidya Vihar, whose excellent performance stopped us just short of the finals.
With the blessings of Swamishree and Prabodh Swamiji, our Under-19 team proudly secured the Bronze Medal for the school. 🏅

In conclusion, this event was not just about winning, but about learning, growing, and playing with spirit. As every player realized:

“Fall with grace, rise with flame –
Every setback shapes the game.”
