The U-14 Khel Mahakumbh competition, hosted by AMNS International School on January 22nd and 23rd 2025, was a remarkable opportunity for our team to showcase its talent and sportsmanship. The tournament not only provided us with valuable competitive experience but also reinforced the spirit of unity and teamwork, encapsulated in our motto, We Are One.

A total of 16 teams from various parts of Surat participated in this intense knockout-style competition. Our team played four matches, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination.

Our first match was against AMNS International School Team-C, where we secured a convincing 3-0 victory. The goals were scored by Sahaj Bhai (Grade 7), Param Bhai (Grade 8), and Tej Bhai (Grade 8).

In the quarterfinals, our school’s team faced Millennium School Team-A and won 3-0, earning a well-deserved place in the semifinals. The goal scorers for this match were Ronit Bhai (Grade 8) and Tej Bhai (Grade 8).

The semifinal match was a challenging encounter against the former champions, Fountainhead School. After a closely contested game, the score was tied at 2-2, leading to a penalty shootout. Despite our best efforts, we narrowly lost 3-2. The goals in regular play were scored by Ronit Bhai (Grade 8) and Tej Bhai (Grade 8).

In the third-place match, we played against Millennium School Team-B and secured a decisive 3-0 victory, ensuring a podium finish in the tournament.

Our achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and guidance of our coaches, Mahesh Sir and Swadesh Sir. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to them, as well as to Ritesh Sir, for their unwavering support. Additionally, we take immense pride in the fact that two of our players have been selected to compete at the state level, further highlighting the success of our team in this prestigious tournament.
