Turning over a new leaf, on 25th June 2025, the students and faculty members of AVM gathered for one of the most significant events of the academic year — the Investiture Ceremony 2025–26. This occasion marked the official beginning of a new journey, where leadership was formally passed on to the newly elected Student Council.
To be a part of the Student Council at AVM is more than just holding a title — it is an opportunity to be moulded into a responsible, accountable, and service-oriented individual. This platform nurtures future leaders, grounded in values and purpose.
The event commenced at 4:30 PM in the school’s Prayer Hall, and the atmosphere was serene yet filled with anticipation. The ceremony began by seeking the divine blessings of Shri Thakorji, setting a spiritual tone for the evening. Our esteemed guests were warmly welcomed and presented with a humble token of gratitude.
An energetic and uplifting performance by our talented students followed. The song “Believe in Yourself, There Is Power in You” infused the space with hope, enthusiasm, and confidence — perfectly echoing the spirit of the day.
The most awaited part of the ceremony, the March Past, was a moment of immense pride. As the newly elected student leaders walked forward with poise, the audience could sense the weight of responsibility they carried. The march was led by the:
- Head Boy: Jay bhai Bhakta

Followed by the House Captains and Vice-Captains:
Satyam House

Sundaram House

Each leader was formally invested with their badge, symbolizing their commitment to uphold the values of the institution. This was followed by the Oath Taking Ceremony, a powerful moment that showcased the unity and determination of the council to serve the school with sincerity and gratitude.
Then came an inspiring address by our newly appointed Head Boy, Jay bhai Bhakta. His words were honest and heartfelt, reminding us of the deeper purpose behind our education and the tireless efforts of Swamishree in shaping our paths.
The ceremony concluded with a guiding and insightful message from our respected Principal, Dr. Vijay Sir. His address reminded us how privileged we are, and how that privilege comes with responsibility. He emphasized that success is not a sudden leap, but a journey of small, consistent efforts. His message inspired us to strive for excellence with discipline, gratitude, and devotion — not only towards our school but also towards our parents and Swamishree.
As the event drew to a close, a renewed sense of purpose filled the hall. The Investiture Ceremony was not just a ritual — it was a powerful reminder to live each day with passion, self-discipline, and commitment, and to make the most of this invaluable opportunity to study, grow, and build a strong foundation for the future.
