This year was marked by athleticism and a vibrant spirit of sportsmanship. Our school proudly sent a well-prepared team to participate in the CBSE Cluster XIII Athletics Meet, held at The Suman Nirmal Minda International School. Competing against over 800 participants, the Atmiya athletes delivered an outstanding performance, securing four medals and making the school proud.
Preparation and Determination
The Atmiya athletes were given over two weeks to prepare for this golden opportunity. Despite challenges such as frequent rain disrupting their practice sessions, their dedication remained unwavering. With the guidance and support of their coaches, the athletes trained indoors whenever necessary, ensuring they were ready to perform at their best.
The Journey and Performances
The journey to the event was filled with motivation and camaraderie, as the athletes drew inspiration from motivational songs and each other’s energy.
Day 1 Highlights
On the first day, five Atmiya athletes competed with remarkable determination on the athletic field. Their efforts bore fruit when Aatman S. Patel clinched a silver medal in the 1500m race (U-19 category), an achievement that was promptly celebrated back at school. The day concluded with the grand opening ceremony of the Meet, adding to the excitement and spirit of the event.
