India’s Independence Day is an occasion that resonates in the heart of every Indian. It marks a historic moment when our nation emerged from the shadows of colonial rule.

This day stands as a tribute to the relentless efforts and sacrifices of countless freedom fighters whose courage and determination shaped our country’s destiny, giving us the priceless gift of freedom that we enjoy today.

The Atmiya Vidya Mandir family celebrated Bharat’s 78th Independence Day with a series of vibrant programs throughout the day. This year’s celebration was centered around the theme, “Our greatest responsibility towards our country is loyalty”.

The program began with the student assembly, followed by the arrival of our esteemed guests and Principal Sir, Dr. Vijay Patel, who were escorted to the stage. Mukesh Sir delivered a heartwarming speech to mark the special occasion.

Afterward, Principal Sir, along with the guests, performed the poojan of Thakorji. The senior dignitaries then hoisted the national flag, and everyone present joined in singing the flag song, Vande Mataram song, and the national anthem of India. With the conclusion of the flag-hoisting ceremony, the stage was set for a day filled with vibrant programs.

We enjoyed a spectacular creative assembly, humbly presented by Shivam House, and starting at 10:50 a.m., Grades 1 to 6 participated in the Arts Competition, while Grades 7 to 10 competed in Outdoor Sports.

With this, our Independence Day celebrations concluded.
