The Investiture Ceremony marks the beginning of the new academic year. It is a blend of various events, emotions, and lessons. During this ceremony, responsibilities are entrusted, and pledges are taken as a commitment to progress and excellence. It is an occasion where the esteemed previous year’s student council members hand over the torch of leadership to the newly appointed council members.

The Investiture Ceremony was held on June 24, 2024. The event commenced at 4:30 PM in the school’s prayer hall. The hosts invited the chief guests to mark the start of the event with the poojan of Shree Thakorji. Following the March Past, the event continued with the pinning of badges to the newly elected student council members. They were conferred with their badges – symbols of responsibility, honour, and striving to lead as nimit sevak.

Next was the oath-taking ceremony. An oath is a commitment, and making a commitment gives us the strength and motivation to fulfil our duties, regardless of the challenges we face. Respected Principal Vijay Sir conducted the oath-taking ceremony.

Thereafter, the newly elected Head Boy, Bhoolku Aatman Bhai, took the stage and delivered his speech. He highlighted that it was the 20th anniversary of our school and reminded us of some of Param Pujya Swamiji’s teachings. He concluded his speech with a prayer to Param Pujya Swamiji on behalf of everyone.

Later, Respected Vijay Sir came to the stage and shared enlightening lessons to help us make the most of the new academic year. He recounted two personal experiences illustrating the importance of utilizing time wisely. He helped us appreciate the fact that we have a unique opportunity to learn and grow while staying in Param Pujya Swamiji’s home, AVM. He emphasized that Param Pujya Swamiji never wasted time and always used it judiciously. Vijay Sir concluded by painting a vivid picture of our role in the school and how we should approach our goals.

At the official end of the ceremony, students and teachers collectively sang the school song, which resonated throughout the prayer hall, marking the end of the Investiture Ceremony.
