There is nothing better than to have a chance to meet Param Pujya Swamiji and seek His blessings at the onset of exams. This phenomenal opportunity came on to AVM boys on 13th February 2018 when they visited Haridham to seek blessings from Swamishree.

The highlight of this never-happened-before trip was that each student got to meet Swamiji personally. Also, the staff got to seek His blessings. Everyone experienced like never before. The feeling was so divine which cannot be described but can only be stored as a sacred, memorable moment for one and all. Swamishree was delighted to hear prayers from eager souls and showered His blessings with His holiest hands upon us. Students gazed at the broad, beaming, out-of-world smile of Swamiji and for those moments they felt the happiness of the heavens. When He was informed about students’ study schedule, tears rolled down His eyes. Students witnessed the crystal clear, cleansing, glad drops running down His face which made them forget all their pains & problems.

On behalf of all the students & staff, Vijay Sir, our Principal, prayed to Swamiji that we all believe ourselves to be the most fortunate people on earth because they got to seek His favour. Secondly, he prayed that we all accept that we are the children of God. And thirdly he prayed that the students do not forget the values taught by Swamishree and the school.

A sign of sheer grace on us, thereafter, Swamishree gave His blessings to all. He started off stating that our sincerity towards work makes God give us results. Therefore, a student must be sincere in working and earnest in prayers, rest all is taken care of by God. Furthermore, he emphasised on leading a spiritual life. He explained to us that God can never be fooled, so, one must be conscious of his/her actions. He guided us to follow the maxim ‘good friends & faithful life’.

The next part of His gosthi carved out the way to attain eternal happiness. He said that a human body is a prone to diseases but the deadliest disease is that of of હઠ (adamant nature), માન (ego), ઈર્ષા (jealousy) and કામ (worldly desires), ક્રોધ (anger), લોભ (greed). The best antidote to such catastrophic disease is company of a saint. A saint is a motherly figure descended on earth to serve God’s devotees and to liberate them from the endless cycle of life and death. He stated that student must build friendship with saints. He went on to define such a pious friendship. He expressed that this friendship should be open, natural, accepting and understanding. He explained that saints have no selfish motive in any of their actions.

At the end of His blessings, He reminded us all that if our five senses remain positive, then the mind remains positive. And if the mind is positive, one can be unstoppable.

As the students came out of the Yogi Prarthana Hall, their confidence for the exams could not be higher, as just before their commencement, these 250 pupils out of the 12.5 lakh examinees nationwide, had been blessed by the human manifestation of the Divine Himself.
