To the students of Atmiya Vidya Mandir, chess isn’t a game, but an art and a fun way of mental work out. So, when the Inter House Chess Competition came around in the week of 17th July, it created an aura of excitement and enthusiasm among us. The competition kicked off with the youngest talents – the Sub Juniors. The tables turned many times and the chess board quickly became treacherous, but in the end, Satyam House managed to snatch the first place.

The Juniors were quite a different story, consisting of less treachery and more strategy and spirit. Sundaram House left everyone in dust to sprint towards its victory.

The Seniors left everyone spellbound and mesmerized. The awe-inspiring talents of Sundaram House paved their way straight to the Finals and secured the first position.

As a result, this helped them spearhead their way through all rounds and claim their title of unbeaten champions.
