It has been 20 years since the establishment of Atmiya Vidya Mandir, and even after two decades, the inter-house competitions are still an integral part of the school’s annual calendar. This wonderful series of competitions received a fresh start at the onset of the academic year 2024-25, with the Inter House Carrom Competition. Organized under the guidance of the skilled sports teachers at Atmiya Vidya Mandir, the Satyam House, Shivam House, Sundaram House, and Suhradam House students participated in this series of nail-biting matches.

Students from three age groups contested in the matches according to a fixed schedule. The energetic audience played a crucial role in the competition, being supportive and cheerful towards their houses.

Carrom offers multiple benefits, from increasing concentration to improving accuracy and pressure resistance. It also helps develop focus and team coordination.

All the teachers and mentors were invited to be part of this vibrant festival. The four boards laid on the platforms, trophies placed on the table, and set barricades created an ambience of excitement. There was a panel of officials, one on each board, and a scorer maintaining the results. The qualifiers and finals both consisted of a set of three continuous matches, whose results determined the winner.

The final result of the competition is as follows:

Place Sub-Junior Junior Senior
1 Sundaram Satyam Shivam
2 Shivam Sundaram Sundaram
