Coordination of physical and mental health is very much essential when one wants an effective and efficient output. To enhance this efficiency, sports plays a prominent role. In the field of sports, volleyball is one major sport which helps in gaining such perfection.

In order to achieve such efficiency and to reap other benefits we witnessed the Inter House Volleyball Competition. The Competition was held in three different categories – Sub-Junior (4th, 5th and 6th), Junior (7th and 8th) and Senior (9th, 10th and 11th).

In the Sub-Junior group, the matches played were as follows: Suhradam House v/s Shivam House and Satyam House v/s Sundaram House. The Sundaram and Shivam House made it to the finals. The third-place match was played between Suhradam House and Satyam House in which the Satyam House clinched the third place. The finals were worth witnessing and truly a thriller. Despite being small in age, all the players from both the teams were equally competitive. But finally, the Shivam House won the finals with a score of 2-1.

In the Junior group, the matches played were as follows: Satyam House v/s Suhradam House and Shivam House v/s Sundaram House. The third-place match was played between Shivam House and Suhradam House in which the Shivam House obtained the third place with a comfortable win of 2-0. The final, which was played between Satyam House and Sundaram House, was exciting enough to make one feel goose bumps. However, in the end, it was the Satyam House team which  made itself worthy of the first position.

In the Senior group, the fixtures were as follows: Satyam House v/s Suhradam House and Shivam House v/s Sundaram House. One could see the excitement in the players as well as the audience to cheer their house and encourage it to climb the ladders of finals.  The third-place match was played between Satyam House and Sundaram House. In reality, viewing this match was no less than witnessing a final. At every score gained by a team, there were new uncertainties as to who would win. As fortune would have it, it was the Sundaram House which grabbed the third place. The finals were “suspense filled”. Both the finalists – Shivam House and Suhradam House – were equally able and competent to win the finals. In the beginning, both the houses won one set each. In the decider set, winning not only the finals but also the hearts of the audience, the Shivam House cleared the sky for making the crown their own.

The overall standings at the end of the tournament are as follows: the fourth place is secured by Suhradam House with 16 points. The third place is secured by Satyam House with 20 points. The second place is secured by Sundaram House with 22 points. And winning the trophy of the Inter House Volleyball Competition, it is the Shivam House with 26 points.
